Today this seems as a fresh perspective on the process of self-education for scientists in the earlier years of their professional life. However, reading science fiction used to be an important part of self-development of scientists in some politically isolated parts of the world about half a century ago. Many good scientists came from this cultural tradition. Thank you for reminding us about it!
